Purchasing Group Sends Binder to Participating Companies
BIOCOM Purchasing group is excited to announce that custom binders are being sent to all participating BIOCOM members. The binders include buyer summaries for every contract that they are participating on, Q2 and Q3 savings letters as well as other important information. The purpose of the binders is to provide an easy way to review and update the benefits that their receiving through BIOCOM Purchasing Group. We will be sending out changes and additions for the binder as they occur and “savings letters” every quarter so that the binders are always current.
VWR Now Distributes Corning
VWR International, LLC, has signed a distribution agreement with Corning Incorporated, effective January 2009. This agreement will significantly extend VWR's product offerings as well as enhance VWR's ability to provide BIOCOM customers with the product choices they need to support their critical research and development applications in the life science area.

BIOCOM Seeks Input on Printing Contract Review
The BIOCOM Purchasing Group is recruiting volunteers to form an ad hoc committee for our upcoming offset printing Request for Proposal (RFP). While the BIOCOM PG handles all the writing and administration of the RFP, we rely heavily on our BIOCOM member volunteers to help evaluate and determine the best supplier for our industry.
If you work with print vendors to create your company's marketing collateral or have experience in the printing industry, we need your help. The BIOCOM PG understands and respects everyone's limited time availability, greatly appreciates the dedication of its ad hoc committee volunteers and thanks you in advance for your participation. We make every effort to streamline the process to make it as easy as possible for our committee volunteers, while giving them an opportunity to participate in an intensive RFP process.
