Does Your 401k Lifecycle or Lifestyle Fund Seem Lackluster?

Over the last few years, increasing levels of 401k assets have been going into "Lifecycle" funds. These are funds that have a mixture of assets - stocks, bonds, and cash - based on where the participant is in their particular phase of life.

On the surface, these may seem to make investing easier, which is a good thing. But easier can sometimes equate to poor investment choices due to a bad model, bad questions or simply poor management of the assets.

If you're finding that your 401k Lifecycle Funds don't have much life in them right now, or they have underperformed their benchmark or peer group, Retirement DNA has a checklist that can guide you toward a better direction for your investments.
