BioCollaborative

The BioCollaborative is a partnership between the BIOCOM Institute, the California State University (CSU) system and industry partners that creates a seamless transition from CSU Professional Science Master’s and related graduate programs to high demand employment in the life sciences for career entrants and current staff using state-of-the-art, web-based resources.
Professional Science Master’s programs prepare science professionals not only with the strong research backgrounds they need for the pharmaceutical, medical devices and diagnostics sectors but also with the managerial, financial, and legal knowledge and skills needed for business success. The BioCollaborative alliance will create close connections between these public sector educational programs and private sector employment needs.
Additional partners in the project include state agencies in California, the National Professional Science Master’s Association (NPSMA), which is participating in the project's design as a national model, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, which funded the project as a prototype for advancing PSM-industry collaboration.
