Reimbursement Series - March Seminar:
Adding Value to Your Product - Building a Market Access Plan
All companies, whether big or small, in early or late stage development or whether a drug, device or diagnostic test company, should have a detailed plan for getting their product(s) approved for marketing. However, approval for marketing is not the doorway to commercial success. Obtaining optimal Market Access (optimal price, reimbursement and utilization status) is a prerequisite to achieving commercial goals - and developing a strategic market access plan can help to reduce perceived risk and uncertainty of commercial success, and add substantially to the asset value of products in development.
Attendees will leave the session with a better understanding of the following:
• Understanding payer needs and evidence requirements
• Identifying points of economic leverage with your product
• Deriving product value statements from target product profiles
•Understanding current coding and billing situation and identifying opportunities and barriers
• Determining your Market Access strategy
• Developing a tactical plan - activities, timelines, budgets & metrics
