Southern California Translational Modeling and Simulation Community Kick-off Meeting
Southern California Translational Modeling and Simulation Community Kick-off Meeting
The Southern California Translational Modeling and Simulation Community is a network of scientists from academia and industry, intended to foster understanding, integration and adoption of systems biology and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation in preclinical to clinical translational research. The goal of the community is to increase the general knowledge-base on health and disease mechanisms and the development of novel therapeutics by sharing ideas and information related to multi-scale model development and use.
The kick-off meeting will serve as an open forum to both identify areas of interest to the community and discuss and define the specific directions for our network to continue.
The organizing committee is very pleased to share that the speaker for this event will be Prof. Francis Doyle (UCSB), who will talk about "The Role of Modeling and Simulation in Translational Research".
The meeting is limited to 50 participants, and will start with lunch, followed by the talk and a brainstorming and planning session. Click here to view full event schedule.
