The USC MESH Academy and Biocom invite you to join us for the LA Entrepreneurial and Innovation Seminar Series: Various Roles of Founders Over the Lifetime of a Company.
An investor once said, "You can replace an executive, but you can't replace a founder." Founders of scientific companies play an important role in cultivating innovation, securing investment and boosting a company's presence. However, more often than not, keeping a founder on board is easier said than done. Join Biocom and USC MESH Academy for a panel where executives and founders from various bioscience companies will discuss the dynamics of maintaining involvement of a scientific founder while growing a company, even if the role of the founder may change.

Panelists:
Jeremy Caldwell: President and CEO of Inception Sciences, Inc.
Justin Ichida: Richard N. Merkin Assistant Professor of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine

Monica Alfaro Welling: Co-Founder & Managing Director, Atheln Inc.

Moderated By:
Steve Kay, Provost Professor of Neurology, Biomedical Engineering and Biological Sciences; Director of MESH Academy; Director of Convergent Bioscience at USC
