About
The Bay Area is the birthplace of biotech and the regional life science community is among the most vibrant in the world. Life science innovation and manufacturing can be found all around the bay and is loosely clustered into six micro-clusters: San Francisco Mission Bay, South San Francisco, the Peninsula, Hayward/Fremont/Pleasanton, Berkeley/Emeryville, and the North Bay.

“The Bay Area is the birthplace of biotech and Silicon Valley, and as such is a concentrated hub of creativity and innovation. Our mission here is the same as it is in San Diego and Los Angeles; unify the region with attention to the particular needs of each micro-cluster, and listen to our members so that we provide the resources they need to succeed.”
