Business Systems Analyst

Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Systems – Purchasing Group

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing, managing and improving our business systems (, Pardot, WordPress, business intelligence, etc.…) to deliver technical solutions that meet our business needs.  This is a customer centric role and the analyst must possess relationship management, business analysis and project management skills as well as technical knowledge of

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead business stakeholders thru the business analysis lifecycle and challenge their assumptions to find best solutions for the organization
  • Gather, document and analyze system requirements
  • Analyze/document current and future business processes – and be able to identify and recommend areas of potential improvement
  • Responsible for change/release management, training and documentation of new features and processes to ensure successful implementations and adoption.
  • Facilitate, perform and support system and user acceptance testing
  • Ability to manage multiple technology partners and vendors in the delivery and support of multiple systems
  • Keep IT Leadership apprised of developments through clear and timely communication
  • Hands-on application configuration and administration of
  • Use your knowledge of IT applications and models to make and support recommendations to business partners
  • Assist with system support and troubleshooting
  • Promote best practices and process compliance


  • 6+ years’ experience in a business system analyst role delivering multiple information systems projects
  • 3+ years’ experience in a business system analyst role on Salesforce projects
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred
  • Experience creating functional designs for Salesforce
  • Biotech/Life Science industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and prior experience in Agile Scrum SDLC and release management
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Pardot, Marketo or Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience in documenting detailed requirements and user stories
  • Experience creating Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
