Membership Assistant

Reports to: Sr. Director of Membership

Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Membership, the Membership Assistant will provide administrative support to the membership department in the areas highlighted below.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with invoice and collections process. Follow up with members on past due invoices and renewal applications
  • Enter membership applications into SalesForce
  • Send welcome emails to new members
  • Email members for headcount, billing contacts and revenues
  • Update in SalesForce invoice and collection status information
  • Email invoices
  • Upload logos and company descriptions into SalesForce; and save logos on marketing drive
  • Update SalesForce when a company pays their renewal dues
  • Research email bounce backs and phone numbers that don’t work
  • Working with membership team when primary and alternate contacts change
  • Work closely with accounting department to create and edit invoices
  • Scanning membership applications and paperwork
  • Update new member PPT for breakfast meetings and lobby TV
  • Update SalesForce with member updates, contact information, notes, etc.
  • Supports membership activities – activates member benefits, fields ongoing member inquiries and creates new member packets.
  • Make membership updates to our Concierge website
  • Assist in ordering new member plaques
  • Backup receptionist

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1Y SalesForce experience required
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Demonstrated professional behavior in dealing with sales team, team members and customers
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, team player who thrives in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
