Facilities Committee – San Diego
Mission Statement
The San Diego Facilities Committee is comprised of life science facility managers, landlords, architects, brokers, and lab suppliers, and meets bimonthly to share best practices, provide continuing education opportunities, and plan workshops and events for those working in these fields.
2023 Meeting Dates
Meetings will be virtual gatherings on the following dates:
- January 26
- March 23
- May 25
- July 27
- September 28
Committee Responsibilities
Provide Input
Provide input to policy makers and other Biocom California committees.
Plan Workshops
Assist in planning of workshops, including securing speakers.
Mentoring
Serve as a mentoring platform for facility managers from smaller companies.
Regulation
Keep abreast of regulations and code changes that will impact the life science industry.
Share Experiences
Share relevant facilities and operations experiences at regular meetings.
Biocom California Responsibilities
Provide Updates
Provide legislative and regulatory updates and solicit input at regular meetings.
Communication
Provide official communication to committee members through agendas.
Clear Procedures
Provide clear procedures for participation in each workshop.
Marketing Materials
Prepare and distribute marketing materials to promote workshops.
Ensure Accuracy
Ensure accurate and updated information in publications.
