Return to Work Resources

Together, we’ve collaborated to combine all of our resources and help pave the path forward for our industry members. Since our first release in May of 2020, we’ve updated our Return to Work Guide to reflect all of the new and innovative solutions for transitioning the world’s largest life science community back into the lab and workplace while mitigating the spread of COVID-19. We couldn’t have done so without our steadfast Return to Work Task Force who have been committed in their efforts to lead the way during this unprecedented time for our members.

And so, without further ado, we present to you our new & improved ‘Return To Work Guide 2.0’, inclusive of an all-new vaccination section, additional testing solutions, and what it will mean for our industry as we head into 2021.

About the Guide About the Task Force Biocom Resources

About the Guide

Over the past few months, the Biocom California team has had the privilege of connecting with leaders across our industry who are leading in the fight against COVID-19. Our members make up the strongest, most collaborative and most innovative life science cluster and we couldn’t be prouder to represent them and support them during this pandemic. It is with this pride and honor that we are excited to deliver this comprehensive guide, THE PATH FORWARD 2.0: BIOCOM’S RETURN TO WORK GUIDE FOR CALIFORNIA’S LIFE SCIENCE INDUSTRY.

This all-new guide released in December 2020—completely updated from our earlier version released in May—includes a section on vaccines, an updated testing and tracing solutions section, and up-to-date CDC guidelines throughout.

The intention of this resource is to establish the foundation of ideas and recommendations upon which we can build—in collaboration with members and partners—an increasingly useful guide. We stand together with our members in working tirelessly as we all strive to make the world a healthier and safer place.

About the Task Force

The Task Force is focused on three key areas: workplace preparedness, workforce preparedness, and wide-scale testing and tracing. In addition to guidance and best practice resources, free and reduced-price PPE, and unique thought leadership in these areas, the task force will conduct and evaluate an RFP to select a group of trusted suppliers to deliver affordable company-wide testing solutions that enable you to bring employees back to office spaces, manufacturing facilities, and laboratory environments in the safest and most responsible manner.

The Return to Work Guide represents the tireless work of the Task Force and the collaboration of over 60 member companies, 20 Board Members, 15 partners, and half of our staff over the past two months.
