About the Addendum

Since initially launching our Return to Work Guide, The Path Forward, on May 29th, we heard how valuable the aggregated information was in helping our members craft their return to work strategies. On July 7th, we released an Addendum to the guide to address requests for additional, updated information that surfaced in the month after launch. Updated information in the Addendum was added under the guidance of Biocom’s Return to Work Task Force, comprised of key industry leaders across the spectrum of life science companies, and informed through close monitoring of changes to recommendations from public health agencies. The Addendum, like the initial guide, is available to the public.

About the Guide

As some regions of California begin to enter Phase 3 of reopening, we at Biocom know that your employees’ safety is of utmost importance. To help prepare for your return to the workplace, our Biocom Return to Work Task Force has leveraged statewide expertise to provide comprehensive guidance for all aspects of operating your business safely and effectively. The guide as well as the Task Force is devoted entirely to the awareness of new health and wellbeing protocols, readiness for our workforce and proactive steps to ensure that our facilities are ready to begin operations productively and safely.

About the Task Force

The Task Force is focused on three key areas: workplace preparedness, workforce preparedness, and wide-scale testing and tracing. In addition to guidance and best practice resources, free and reduced-price PPE, and unique thought leadership in these areas, the task force will conduct and evaluate an RFP to select a group of trusted suppliers to deliver affordable company-wide testing solutions that enable you to bring employees back to office spaces, manufacturing facilities, and laboratory environments in the safest and most responsible manner.

The Return to Work Guide represents the tireless work of the Task Force and the collaboration of over 60 member companies, 20 Board Members, 15 partners, and half of our staff over the past two months.
