The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and Biocom, the association representing the California life science industry, today announced a joint partnership to collaboratively produce The Digital MedTech Conference 2020. In combining Biocom’s DeviceFest and Digital Health Conference with AdvaMed’s Digital MedTech Conference, the single event will highlight the evolving digital medtech landscape and explore trends impacting the industry, all while bringing together key leaders from California and beyond. The conference will take place at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles from May 19th-20th, 2020.

“The Digital MedTech Conference is where leading experts, innovators and key decision makers come together to discuss the critical technology and business issues facing today’s digital medtech community,” said Scott Whitaker, president and CEO of AdvaMed. “Our partnership with Biocom reflects the ways the digital medtech landscape is quickly growing and evolving, all of which will be highlighted during this year’s conference discussions and presentations.”

“California is a global leader in the digital health world—a role that is rapidly expanding, as digital health and consumer-driven data are now at the forefront of health care,” said Joe Panetta, president and CEO of Biocom. “As the medtech and digital health industries continue to converge, our partnership with AdvaMed comes at an opportune time. In pooling our individual expertise and strengths together, The Digital MedTech Conference will give a comprehensive look at the latest trends and issues this sector faces.”

The Digital MedTech Conference will feature dynamic panels, keynote presentations and case studies covering the critical technology and business issues facing the development and deployment of digital health devices, tools and services. Renowned experts will share their thoughts and outlooks on the state of digital medtech, giving attendees a more comprehensive look into the convergence of the medical device and digital health sectors.
