Last month, at Biocom’s 12th Annual DeviceFest & Digital Health Conference, three innovative medical device and diagnostic companies gave five-minute pitches to a panel of judges and investors at the conference, while receiving on-the-spot critiques. This hot seat was a fast, fun, and interactive forum, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their technologies in front of world-class leaders and investors, while 120+ conference attendees watched and participated. Voted on by audience members using their mobile devices, one entrepreneur was crowned the “hottest” device company in Southern California. Congrats to Baywind Bio for winning Biocom’s 2019 Hot Seat Challenge!
