In less than six weeks, Biocom’s 11th Annual Global Life Science Partnering Conference will return, giving companies the chance to make impactful connections, expand their business on a global scale, and hear from some of the most successful pharma and biotech dealmakers. For many in our industry, the 2020 Biocom Global Life Science Partnering Conference was the last in person event attended. The conference reached new heights in 2020, attracting a sellout crowd of over 400 attendees from across the globe to experience three days of intimate and high-level networking at the Lodge at Torrey Pines overlooking the world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course. Register Today!

The 2021 conference will look a bit different in our new pandemic reality, being delivered virtually, but the content will be as dynamic as ever! Here's what you can expect:

Speakers/Panelists: One of the silver linings to our virtual format is the opportunity to engage even more thought leaders on our agenda. Removing travel expectations has allowed us to expand our networks, attracting more speakers. We have added 2 extra panels in 2021. View our current agenda.

Unprecedented Keynote Discussions: If you are a veteran participant of our partnering conference then you have had the opportunity to hear from many of the most innovative biotech and pharma luminaries over the past 10 years. Meet our 2021 keynote panel who will reflect on their unique perspectives on the 2020 pandemic and the impact COVID-19 had on partnerships between life science companies, academia and government.

Kate Bingham, Managing Director, SV Health Investors, Chair, UK Vaccine Task Force (Ended in January 2021) and Moncef Slaoui, Partner, Medicxi, The Former scientific head of Operation Warp Speed will join moderator John Reed, M.D., Ph.D., Executive Vice President Global Head of Research & Development, Sanofi on day one of the conference, February 23rd.

Company Presentations: Throughout the conference, innovative companies will pitch their cutting-edge science, giving them the exposure needed to get on the radar of active investors. With our new virtual format, and no space limitations, we are now expanding our innovation room in scope increasing the number of presenting companies to 40. With only 10 spots remaining, we encourage those interested in benefitting from this opportunity to apply now. For additional information, please contact Brandon Jenkins.

Networking: Connecting with potential business partners is the number one goal of those attending the Biocom Global Life Science Partnering Conference. We will be incorporating networking opportunities throughout the conference agenda that won’t be like your normal Zoom breakouts. Alternatively, our platform allows attendees to “sit” at virtual tables, have easy, face-to-face interactions, casual conversations and impromptu 1:1 meetings.

One-on-One Meetings: We are all experts now when it comes to virtual meetings, but getting that one meeting, the one that will create value and drive your business forward is a challenge. Biocom’s Global Life Science Partnering Conference is the ideal setting to explore exciting potential business deals and the BIO one-on-one partnering system makes it seamless to search for the right partners and schedule face to face meetings, allowing for valuable discussions to take place. Last year, the conference facilitated over 800 1:1 meetings with international delegates representing 13 countries and 22 states.

Registered attendees can begin messaging and scheduling meetings with delegates now through the partnering system. You handle the partnering and we will handle the logistics: BIO will assign custom virtual meeting links prior to the conference based on the meetings you scheduled. With our conference taking place virtually, we are now extending our partnering days to span the entire week, Monday, February 22 – Friday, February 26.

Connect, meet, and learn from top tier investors on what they look for in a partnership and pitfalls to avoid so you can lead your company to success. View the full list of speakers you’ll hear from. Join us and see why this conference continues to attract leading biotech investors and senior business development executives from across the globe year after year.
