The Biocom Institute Charity Golf Tournament is always more than just a day on the green, and this year is sure to be no different! Join us and over 125 life science professionals on Monday, September 9th for a day of fellowship, camaraderie, and networking on a warm San Diego day. We will have an incredible lineup of entertainment, libations, contests and prizes with an onsite reception, silent auction and awards ceremony to cap off the day! All of this while supporting a great cause—proceeds from the event will benefit the Biocom Institute Veterans Initiative supporting veterans interested in securing employment in the life science industry.

Every year, approximately 15,000 Navy & Marines stationed in San Diego leave the service, and half of them stay here with their families. Proceeds from the event will help the Biocom Institute provide a holistic approach to addressing skills gaps, hiring and job-search challenges, and a unique direct connection for veterans to the life science industry.

Praise for past Biocom Institute Charity Golf Tournaments and the Biocom Institute Veterans Initiative:

“I’ve played in quite a few of these over the years, but this was by far the best one.” – Alan Nelson, Executive MBA Candidate, SD XII, USC Marshall School of Business

“That was by far the best run golf event I’ve ever attended and I’ve been fortunate enough to play in many. Golf went smoothly and quickly and the par 3 stations were excellent. Cocktail hour, dinner and the raffle were all entertaining and efficient as well!” – Will Ater, Sr. VP Finance & Admin, Senté Labs

“I recognize that Biocom exists for a much larger purpose. The Veterans Initiative is the only gateway I have found into exploring the biotech sector. Having them establish relationships, provide opportunities to connect as well as the information necessary… I have not found this anywhere else.” – David Samara, US. Navy, Veterans Initiative Participant
