San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher was elected to the Board of Supervisors in November 2018, and represents District 4. He notably serves on several boards that directly impact Biocom members’ operations in San Diego County, including the Executive Board for the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, the San Diego Association of Governments’ (SANDAG) Transportation Committee, and especially the California Air Resources Board. Supervisor Fletcher has shown an interest in curbing air emissions, and his proposal to study San Diego County’s current toxic air pollutant threshold and return with a proposed rule no later than April 2020 passed the board in May of this year.

We invite you to join us for a roundtable with Supervisor Fletcher on October 21st. This forum will give Biocom members the unique opportunity to discuss matters that are specific to our industry and/or your company, such as inspections and permitting (APCD, DEH/HazMat), workforce housing and transportation, and county regulations that impact your operations. This is also a chance for you to build a relationship with the Supervisor and his staff, and for him to understand the importance of what you do in San Diego.

Seating is limited. RSVP is required. Register here.
