In less than four weeks, Biocom’s 10th Annual Global Life Science Partnering Conference will return, giving companies the chance to make impactful connections, expand their business on a global scale, and hear from some of the most successful pharma and biotech dealmakers. Previous years of the Biocom Global Life Science Partnering Conference have attracted sell out crowd of over 350 attendees from across the globe to experience three days of intimate and high-level networking at the Lodge at Torrey Pines overlooking the world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course. The conference is projected to sell out again in 2020.

To celebrate the Partnering Conference’s 10th anniversary we are excited to partner with Biomed Realty and UC San Diego to host a Welcome Reception with special guided tours of BioMed Realty’s new Center for Novel Therapeutics at the University of California San Diego’s Science Research Park. Boasting more than 137,500 square feet, this new research hub is designed to foster collaboration between academic researchers and industry scientists with the common goal of accelerating therapies from the research bench to the treatment at the patient’s bedside. Come and explore the only academic industry drug discovery incubator in San Diego alongside Partnering Conference attendees.

At our keynote luncheon, we are pleased to have Michael Varney, PhD, Executive Vice President of Genentech Research & Early Development (gRED) to join us. Mike brings decades of leadership and drug discovery innovation to gRED and was one of the original fifteen employees at Agouron, a biotech company based in San Diego that developed protein structure-based drug design as a new drug discovery approach.

Throughout the conference, innovative companies will pitch their cutting-edge science, giving them the exposure needed to get on the radar of active investors. With only 10 spots remaining, we encourage those interested in benefitting from this opportunity to submit their applications for review.

Biocom’s Global Life Science Partnering Conference is the ideal setting to explore exciting potential business deals and the BIO one-on-one partnering system makes it seamless to search for the right partners and schedule face to face meetings, allowing for valuable discussions to take place. Last year, the conference facilitated over 650 one-on-one meetings with international delegates representing 13 countries and 22 states. Registered attendees can begin messaging delegates now through the partnering system and start scheduling meetings on February 11th.

Connect, meet, and learn from top tier investors on what they look for in a partnership and pitfalls to avoid so you can lead your company to success. View the conference agenda for a full list of speakers you’ll hear from. Come see why this conference continues to attract leading biotech investors and senior business development executives from across the globe year after year.
