Bio-Link Depot, a volunteer-driven nonprofit based in Oakland, has been receiving donated new and used laboratory supplies and equipment from companies and research institutes, and providing them at no cost to STEM educators since 2002. Donating to the Depot is a direct way to support hands-on science education at all levels, while also diverting material from landfill and potentially providing a tax benefit to your company.

During the global pandemic, Bio-Link Depot has continued to receive donations and make them available to educators in schools across northern California, through socially-distanced individual appointments. As year-end approaches, we invite life science companies and research institutions to donate surplus or used lab equipment and supplies, to support STEM educators in stretching their tight budgets and continuing to provide quality bioscience education. Items needed most include small benchtop instruments and equipment, lab glassware/plasticware and consumables such as petri dishes, vials, and serological pipettes, etc. Donated items will directly benefit the education of our future bioscientists and physicians!
