Facilities Committee

Mission Statement

This committee provides a central forum within the life science community for all facilities-related issues, including but not limited to: programming, design construction, facilities management, development codes, permitting, real estate trends, and financing opportunities. The Committee also offers continuing education through Facilities Workshops: quarterly gatherings of facilities managers and service providers that include presentations and discussion of timely issues. Finally, the committee recommends positions on facilities-related bills to the Legislative Committee/Public Policy Oversight Committee.

Committee Make-Up

To ensure a strong working committee, participation includes Co-Chairs and Committee members. Committee members are required to attend/call in to at least four Facilities meetings and/or workshops per year to maintain a seat on the committee. Meetings take place bi-monthly (every other month) in odd months on the fourth Thursday of the month at noon.
