Richard White

Manager, Federal Advocacy

As Manager of Federal Advocacy at Biocom California, Richard develops and advocates for Biocom California’s policy priorities on Capitol Hill. He specializes in intellectual property, appropriations, and rare disease matters with our members. He is the staff contact on the Intellectual Property and Patent Law Committee. 

Previously, Richard was a Policy Analyst at the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD). Before NORD, he served as Manager of Science and Regulatory Affairs at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland.
