Hepatocyte Expert Program

Thermo Fisher Scientific is pleased to announce another Hepatocyte Expert Program (HEP) on September 7th at the Thermo Fisher Scientific site in San Diego (La Jolla) CA. The Hepatocyte Expert Program will focus on techniques and products as well as lectures from experts in the field of hepatic biology, ADME/Tox and Drug Development.

With many years of combined hepatocyte expertise Rafal Witek and his Thermo Fisher Scientific research and development team, along with other guest-speakers, from both the pharmaceutical industry and academia will share
their knowledge on the latest techniques to optimize your research for hepatic transporter studies, DMPK, 3D models, and toxicity. As part of the lecture program we will host a round-table discussion.

An optional component of the program is an on-site demonstration, addressing optimal hepatocyte cell culture practices, to be scheduled at your convenience either before or after the day of the event.

This year's theme for TEDxSanDiego's eighth annual event is Created Future(s), which speaks how each of us crafts our individual future, and how the 7.4 billion futures being created around the world become the collective future for the planet.

On October 14th we will feature 12 speakers and 3 performances, covering topics such as augmented reality, the refugee crisis, alternative approaches to education, inclusive innovation and the challenges presented by climate change.
