The Festival of Genomics San Diego will bring the west coast genomics community together on June 26-27 to unveil the latest trends unfolding in the field of genomics. Bringing together leaders in academia, pharma and healthcare, the Festival will provide an opportunity to connect and network with people from across the whole of the industry.

If you’re using genomics to drive forward R&D, drug development or the diagnosis and treatment of disease then this Festival is the place to get inspired and informed.

This year’s San Diego Festival is made up of a variety of exciting features including: keynote sessions, topic specific tracks, silent seminar technology, a buzzing exhibition floor, poster zone, lunch and learn sessions, a launch pad area and so much more.

The two day event will feature 70+ speakers providing insightful presentations and participating in panel discussions which will cover 4 core themes: Research and Development, Enabling Data, Personalizing Medicine and Precision Therapies.

Key note speakers include: Jennifer Hall, Chief, Institute for Precision Cardiovascular Medicine, American Heart Association, Mark DePristo, Head of Deep Learning for Genetics and Genomics, Google Brain Team and many more…

This year's theme for TEDxSanDiego's eighth annual event is Created Future(s), which speaks how each of us crafts our individual future, and how the 7.4 billion futures being created around the world become the collective future for the planet.

On October 14th we will feature 12 speakers and 3 performances, covering topics such as augmented reality, the refugee crisis, alternative approaches to education, inclusive innovation and the challenges presented by climate change.
