The Introductory Life Sciences Experience (ILSE) provides a re-entry pathway into a STEM career in life science for 40 young adults, ages 18-24, with substantial barriers to career planning. The program goal is to assist in their transformation into professional, competent, and productive life science employees.

The ILSE program provides each intern with 160 paid hours of work experience. Each participant will have completed 2 courses in biotechnology including lab instruction and work readiness skills training prior to their internship. Take an intern and Biocom Institute will take care of the rest.
