Public Policy – Biocom was established in 1995 based upon the advocacy/lobbying needs of the local life sciences community. Today, the Biocom Public Policy department functions as a trusted and respected voice on local, state, and federal levels relating to any issues that have the potential to impact our members.

Concierge – The Biocom Concierge site is a resource which was developed to match our members’ needs with the appropriate service provider (s) from within our membership. This site is keyword searchable based upon the products and/or areas of expertise to quickly help our members find another trusted member to do business with.

Capital Development – Biocom’s Capital Development team connects member companies with venture capital and other sources of funding through a variety of dynamic programs, including angel investing, licensing and partnering opportunities, research grant insights, and one-on-one discussions.

CRO – Responding to the extraordinary growth of outsourcing in the life science industries and the expanding number of contract research organizations (CROs) in California, Biocom established a CRO initiative that fosters the creation of an outsourcing community while identifying ways to connect regional companies to this expanding network

International – Biocom members get instant access to Biocom’s global network of offices, partnerships, and initiatives in Tokyo, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, China, and emerging markets.

Workforce Development – Through the Biocom Institute, members get access to programs that create opportunities for STEM participants, teachers, enthusiasts and life science industry companies and scientists to work together. Members also get access to talent and career reports, and unique opportunities to access corporate social responsibility and community outreach initiatives to reach the life science community.
