Standards and Technology for Office & Retail Lighting
When: Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 11:30am – 1:00pm

Course description: The lighting industry has adopted LEDs as standard practice. LED benefits include energy efficiency, improved quality of light, unique design opportunities, and environmentally friendly design options.

This updated lighting class will include a review of Lighting Metrics and Photometry that can serve as a framework for evaluating luminaires.  The class will allow participants to examine a wide range of luminaires for interior, exterior, and special environment applications with focus on LED and lighting performance. Participants will also get hands-on experience with identifying and preparing lighting in an assigned space.
