COVID-19 Update and Sharp’s Commitment to You

Dear Sharp Customer,

First and foremost, Sharp hopes that all our customers are out of harm’s way and anyone who is, or has loved ones who are, affected by this virus make a swift and speedy recovery. We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty in all our businesses. Sharp also knows that many at the front lines in healthcare, our first responders, and our teachers are learning new ways to instruct our children by leveraging technology. We want to do all we can to help ensure they are successful.

Health and Safety First | Our priority is to protect the health and safety of our employees as well as the many people we interact with and support in our community. To that end, we have instituted travel restrictions for non-critical activities, opened broad work-from-home policies wherever possible and are adhering to social-distancing best practices.

Local Services and Installations | If there is a situation that requires a Sharp service person to visit your office, rest assured that we will adhere to any local regulations or office protocols you have in place. We are outfitting our service people with disposable gloves and will disinfect serviced equipment upon entry and exit to ensure everyone’s safety. Our IT services experts are already functioning on a remote basis to help you solve your computing, data protection, and security needs.

Ensuring Business Continuity | Sharp leadership is meeting daily to ensure the safety of our people, the continuity of our business, our ability to provide, service and supply any equipment needed by our customers in a safe and efficient way. We are managing our supply chain closely, and we have experienced no major impacts at this time.

New Work Realities | We understand many of you are wrestling with the new reality of remote workers for the first time. We are already talking to customers about improving remote network, application and digital document access, printing needs and laptop computer upgrades.
