Earlier this month, Governor Gavin Newsom announced plans for a “full” re-opening of the state’s economy by June 15, 2021. This re-opening is conditional upon continued availability of vaccine supply for those who want it and hospitalization rates remain low and will still employ not-yet-announced public health measures (such as masking and testing). Some indoor public gatherings, such as conventions, will be limited in capacity until at least autumn. The Governor’s press release can be found here, while a more detailed description can be found at the California Department of Public Health website.
