Biocom members throughout California have been improvising their operations to comply with ever-changing local public health orders. Our San Diego Facilities Committee will be hosting a workshop on June 23rd to share best practices on adapting your facility to COVID-19 requirements. We plan to offer separate sessions for our members in San Diego, the Bay Area, and Los Angeles; this will be the first in the series.

Whether you have questions about how your colleagues have adjusted their routines, what kinds of screening and distancing procedures are best, or how often you should be sanitizing elevator buttons, we hope our San Diego members will join us for this virtual panel presentation.

This workshop will cover:
• Adapting workspaces to physical distancing: facility design, people flows, limiting density/occupancy
• Cleaning activities: monitored & smart cleaning, UV lighting & sterilization
• Tracing: digital & point of contact
• Touchless entrySpeakers include:
• Jessica Francis, ED of HR & Operations, Fate Therapeutics
• Taylor Gifford, VP, Cultura
• Jason Moorhead, VP – Asset Services, Alexandria Real Estate Equities
• Jeana Renger, VP, Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects
