Catalyst Awards
The Biocom Life Science Catalyst Awards recognize outstanding individuals in California under the age of 40 who are making an impact and advancing human health through scientific discovery, entrepreneurship, leadership, community engagement and innovation. Winners will receive special industry recognition throughout the year at Biocom events.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominate individuals under 40 years old in all areas of life science who are moving the field forward—whether in the lab, the clinic, the boardroom, or the community.

Awardees Announced: October 2025
Catalyst awardees will be announced in October 2025 and celebrated at regional holiday events and at select Biocom events throughout the following year.
About the Catalyst Awards
The Biocom California Life Science Catalyst Awards were established in 2016. The judging committee is made up of life science executives and previous winners from across the state. They are tasked with selecting up to 10 statewide winners through a rigorous evaluation process.
