Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Dave Schlotterbeck is chairman and chief executive officer for CareFusion.
Previously, Dave served as vice chairman and chief executive officer for the Clinical and Medical Products business segment of Cardinal Health, where he provided executive oversight for the company's Clinical Technologies and Services, Medical Products and Technologies, and International business segments.
Prior to this role, Dave served as chief executive officer for Cardinal Health's Clinical Technologies and Services business segment, where he was responsible for the company's patient point-of-care strategy and key supporting products and services, including the Alaris® Products, Pyxis® Products and Pharmacy Services organizations. He joined Cardinal Health through the acquisition of Alaris, where he was president and chief executive officer.
Dave also previously held executive leadership roles as president and chief operating officer of Pacific Scientific Company; president and chief executive officer of Vitalcom, Inc.; and, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Nellcor, Inc.
Dave holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the General Motors Institute (Kettering University) and a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He also completed the Executive Institute at Stanford University.

Martin (Marty) Waters is a partner in the San Diego, California, office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Marty represents numerous public and private growth companies, primarily in the life sciences and telecommunications industries, in a general counsel capacity. He also handles a wide variety of complex commercial transactions for clients, including public offerings of equity and debt securities; friendly and hostile mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; licensing transactions; venture capital financings; equipment leasing transactions; and the formation of partnerships, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.
Marty regularly counsels boards of directors, management, and investors on the governance and regulation of business entities and securities laws. In addition to life sciences and telecommunications, his industry experience encompasses a broad range of issues and industries, including Internet and e-commerce, financial services, new and traditional media, and real estate.
He formerly was associated with the law firms of Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in New York.
Marty currently serves as a member of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's Policy Committee.
