Navigating the changing payer and provider landscape: Identifying opportunities; accessing markets.

As a result of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 new health delivery structures and payment methodologies have been introduced into the US healthcare market that affects the way care is delivered and paid for. As a consequence, both payers and providers are much more interested in manufacturers of healthcare technologies that can demonstrate that they are part of the solution - partners or collaborators - rather than just vendors of drugs, devices and diagnostic tests. Companies that can align themselves and support the health outcome goals of the payers and providers will gain more receptive customers and more sustainable market positions.

This half-day seminar will take an in-depth look at recent changes in payer and provider landscape and will include an interactive workshop on how to build meaningful and sustained payer relationships and an expert panel on Care Management. Specifically, the focus of the sessions will include new integrated healthcare delivery organizations, such as accountable care organizations, care management programs, physician pay for performance arrangements and the impact on their resource utilization, and the growing importance of these new structures for healthcare technology companies.

*Participants at this seminar will receive the latest most relevant insight into key developments in one of the most important market segments and will come away from the workshop with tools and practical knowledge that can be put to good use immediately.
