Using an Older Copier? What to Know About the Windows 11 Updates
Microsoft has made a few key updates to Windows 11 that could interrupt your scan-to-folder and scan-to-email functions—especially if you’re working with older equipment. Changes include:
- SMB v1 will no longer be supported, disrupting scan-to-folder functionality.
- Basic email authentication has been disabled, affecting scan-to-email.
- Devices that don’t support OAuth 2.0 can’t authenticate with Office 365, meaning scan-to-email might stop working altogether.
