Submit Your Abstract
With the help of your mentor(s), please craft a scientific abstract based on the work you have been doing this summer. The abstract must be turned into your program staff by Friday, July 18th. This is a firm deadline. Your abstract will not be published online if it is not received prior to the deadline.
The format of your abstract will be as shown in the example below. You will need the following information to complete your submission:
- Poster #: (Provided for you) – leave blank
- Student Name
- Mentor: Mentor Name(s) & credentials; PI Name(s) & credentials.
- Title: No character limit
- Abstract: 300 words max
- Include a headshot in JPEG format with file name: Firstname-Lastname.jpeg

Poster Guidelines
All students who attend the conference will be required to present a scientific poster. Students should print their posters locally, and travel with them. Poster boards are made of a fabric material, therefore adhesive tape will not work. Pushpins will be available to adhere posters to the poster boards.
- Poster size maximum: 3′ x 3′
- Recommend a minimum font size of 24 for the text in your poster.
