Amir Naiberg

Associate Vice Chancellor, President & CEO

Amir Naiberg is Associate Vice Chancellor of UCLA Technology Development Group and President & CEO of the UCLA Technology Development Corporation. He leads UCLA’s innovation, intellectual property, and entrepreneurship efforts, advancing the university as a global hub for technology transfer and industry collaboration. Under his leadership, UCLA has secured and monetized royalty streams exceeding $1.5 billion, strengthened campus–industry partnerships, and expanded opportunities for faculty and student innovators.
Previously, Naiberg served as President & CEO of Yeda Research and Development, the commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he generated more than $3 billion in royalties and negotiated landmark licensing agreements for blockbuster therapeutics. A recognized authority on global innovation policy, he has advised governments, universities, and corporations, and co-chaired the Israel Technology Transfer Organization.
Naiberg holds law degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (LL.B) and the University of Connecticut (LL.M).
