Biocom invites you to join us for a supply chain focused webinar for life science companies, as we discuss COVID-19 and the direct impacts on supply chain. The objective of this webinar is to learn boots on the ground best practices for how life science companies can adapt their current business practices and procedures to mitigate impact on their companies' ability to continue progress R&D, manufacturing and/or commercializing of life saving drugs and therapies while positioning to succeed on the other side of the crisis.

For the first time during this COVID-19 pandemic, two of the largest organizations partnered with the life science industry, Thermo Fisher Scientific and FedEx will be sharing how they are responding to the needs of their customers, providing technology and supporting the diagnostic and therapeutic work being done by life science companies. Following their presentations, we will then move into a discussion featuring supply chain experts from life science industry, followed by an interactive Town Hall formatted Q&A. This webinar is aimed at giving attendees tangible tools and tactics necessary for ensuring their companies can adapt to these new challenges.

    Jerry C. Beyl, Vice President, FedEx HealthCare Solutions
    Jerry Beyl is responsible for the strategic and tactical leadership of global selling teams who work in collaboration with our healthcare customers.  Jerry serves on several committees and councils designed specifically for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the development and implementation of the sales strategy within FedEx Services to ensure continuity and consistency.  

    Before joining FedEx, Beyl was Corporate Director of Sales at Caliber System (formerly Roadway Services, Inc.).  He has over 35 years of leadership experience in an array of logistics products and services including LTL, domestic and international parcel, international freight, third-party logistics, and surface expedite.  

    A graduate of Indiana State University, Mr. Beyl is a member of the Council of Logistics Management and the National Association of Small Shipment Traffic Conferences (NASSTRAC).  He has also served as a member of the General Motors Global Logistic Council. 

    A native of Southern Indiana, Mr. Beyl has served as a board member at Young Life in several communities, the Pink Palace Family of Museums in Memphis, and the Medical Alley Association in Minneapolis.  

    Mr. Beyl and his wife Dianna and have three children and currently reside in Collierville, TN. 

    Leon Wyszkowski, President, Commercial Operations, Pharma Services 
    Leon has worked in drug development for over 25 years with extensive experience in operations, client services and supply chain logistics.  
    He joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2006 and since then he has held positions of increased responsibility including his previous position as President of Thermo Fisher’s Clinical Trials business. 

    Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Leon held leadership roles in Operations and Clinical Supplies for Pfizer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brown University. Leon is a native of Venezuela and speaks fluent Spanish

    Robert Reyes, Executive Director Strategic Sourcing/Procurement/Corp Travel, Neurocrine Biosciences 
    Roberto Reyes has a diverse background in multiple industries across life sciences, high tech, aerospace and beverage. Roberto has a passion for Supply Management & Entrepreneurship and is founder of Craft Sourcing Collective, StartupCircle and Partner in Plug and Play San Diego. Roberto is on a mission to make Entrepreneurship a vital economic activity for communities across the world with an emphasis in supply management. Roberto is currently heading the Sourcing & Procurement at Neurocrine Bioscience.

    Todd Abraham, Vice President Operations, Ivantis Inc
    Bringing more than 30 years of broad medical device experience, Todd Abraham joined Ivantis as Vice President of Operations in 2017.
    Prior to joining Ivantis, Todd was President of Pragmatic Solutions Advisory & Consulting, Inc., focusing on strategy and operations support for small and mid-sized medical device companies. Todd joined Endologix, Inc. in 2010 as Vice President of Operations, where he was a key part of the leadership team and helped grow sales five-fold. Before joining Endologix, he held a number of management positions at Edwards Lifesciences Corporation. He also served as Vice President and General Manager of Sterilis, Inc., a medical device company. In addition, he spent 14 years at Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson Company.
    Todd serves on several boards and advisory councils including: The Medical Device Supply Chain Council, BioCom Purchasing Group, Keck Graduate Institute of Bioscience, and novel software start-up InspiRD.
    Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Duke University and completed graduate work in engineering management at the University of South Florida.
