Alexander Titus, Ph.D.

Alexander Titus, Ph.D., is an AI and biotechnology executive focused on translating scientific capability into real-world impact, working at the intersection of technology, national security, and the life sciences.

Titus leads the Vigilance Division at Alloy Therapeutics, building new approaches to ensuring critical capabilities, countermeasures, and capital are available when needed most. He also serves as a Commissioner on the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology.

Previously, he was the inaugural VP of AI and Machine Learning at Avidity Biosciences and VP of Strategy and Computational Sciences at Colossal Biosciences. Earlier, he led AI and life sciences solutions for the global public sector at Google Cloud and served as the first Assistant Director for Biotechnology at the U.S. Department of Defense.

He holds a Ph.D. from Dartmouth College and dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Puget Sound.
