Chief Business Officer
Ena Chan Cratsenburg has served as Chief Business Officer of Ginkgo since 2016, where she leads corporate development, enterprise sales, and strategic partnerships. She has built and scaled collaborations that harness Ginkgo’s synthetic biology platform to bring bio-based products to market across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, industrial biotechnology, and consumer sectors. She has also helped expand Ginkgo into tools and services, including autonomous laboratory solutions to replace manual lab work with robotics and cloud lab research services powered by Ginkgo’s in-house autonomous lab.
Previously, Ms. Cratsenburg held executive and senior leadership roles at Intrexon, Evolva, and Amyris, leading commercialization and partnerships across diverse sectors. She began her career in business development and management at Pixar Animation Studios and BP p.l.c.
Ms. Cratsenburg holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
