Jennifer De La Cruz is a dynamic and dedicated HR professional with over 7 years of experience in the biotech and medical device industries. Currently, she serves as the Manager of Human Resources at ReCode Therapeutics, where she focuses on driving initiatives that strengthen company culture, elevate the employee experience, and increase engagement and retention.
Before joining ReCode, Jennifer was an early employee at Gator Bio, where she established and developed the HR function from the ground up. She designed and implemented comprehensive HR policies and processes from recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and exits. Drawing on her strong mentorship and sales experience from Tecfen Medical, Jennifer understands the importance of viewing employees as valued customers and prioritizing exceptional customer service within HR.
Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Colorado State University, Global Campus, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her master’s program, she gained a deep understanding of the relationship between strategic HR and business outcomes, exploring case studies on how innovative HR practices can drive organizational success.
