Lara is a 3rd year PhD candidate at City of Hope, specializing in Immuno-Oncology. Her research focuses on developing microbial-based therapeutics for solid tumors. She has a M.S. in Regenerative Medicine from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a B.S. in Microbiology from Cal Poly Pomona.
