Dr. Qinhua Cindy Ru is a pharmaceutical and biotechnology executive with more than 20 years of experience in oncology clinical development, regulatory strategy, product launches, and GxP quality oversight. She has held leadership roles at Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Exelixis, Sihuan Pharmaceutical and CARsgen Therapeutics, contributing to the development, approval and launch of major oncology therapies including vorinostat, buparlisib, cabozantinib, inotuzumab ozogamicin, and gemtuzumab ozogamicin. Cindy founded CRC Oncology in San Diego in 2018 and currently leads regulatory and clinical development programs for innovative therapies. In 2026, she expanded her work into AI-enabled clinical development and compliant clinical data and statistics platforms. Cindy earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from Tsinghua University and completed postdoctoral research at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
