Sonal is the President of KARL STORZ North America (KSNA), leading 2,700+ employees across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial operations. He oversees KSNA’s overall performance, driving growth, profitability, and innovation through strategic leadership and talent development. Previously, he led KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America with 1,600+ employees, advancing innovation and market share. Sonal brings over two decades of global experience in medical devices, consumer health, and B2C sectors, having held senior roles at Philips, GE, and as CEO of Onera Health. At Philips, he led the $1.3B Sleep and Respiratory Care business in North America, navigating COVID-19 demand surges and business model transformation. He serves on the Board of directors for Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and California Life Sciences and held prior board role at Respironics Inc. Passionate about improving patient outcomes, Sonal holds an MBA from IMD, Switzerland, and advanced degrees from the University of Pune. He grew up in India and Nigeria and holds American and Dutch citizenship.
