Steven Chinowsky is a partner in the San Diego office and recently served as Global Co-Chair of the Technology Industry Group. Mr. Chinowsky’s practice focuses primarily on life science, technology, and intellectual property transactional matters including advising on complex business carve out transactions, acquisitions, and dispositions of intellectual property portfolios, technology licensing agreements, research and collaboration agreements, co-promotion and co-commercialization agreements, technology joint venture agreements, and general commercial agreements. He also has substantial experience in privacy law and representing startup companies with concerns such as formation, product acquisition and development, and commercialization.

Mr. Chinowsky represents both domestic and international companies in a variety of industries including: life sciences, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical devices, gentic research, software, big data, e-commerce, technology, manufacturing, and distribution.
