
Co-Chair, Global Mergers & Acquisitions
Tim Ingrassia is co-chair, global mergers & acquisitions at Goldman Sachs, where he also serves on the IBD Client and Business Standards Committee. Prior to his current role, Tim served as head of mergers & acquisitions in the Americas, global head of the Consumer Retail Group in Investment Banking and as co-chief operating officer in the Communications, Media and Entertainment department. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 as part of the two-year analyst program and worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department until 1997. Tim was named managing director in 1996 and partner in 1998.
Tim serves as chair of the Jefferson Scholarship Foundation and as a member of the Board of Managers at the University of Virginia. He also sits on the Endowment Trust Board at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Board of Trustees of the Brooklyn Public Library. Tim earned a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
