      This months spotlight event features Echo, a San Diego startup that has developed a digital, all-in-one microscope. CEO Eugene Cho, will share how he got started, the hurdles he experienced along the way and his experience working with Tech Coast Angels. In 2016 Eugene won $15,000 in the 10th annual “Quick Pitch” competition, hosted by San Diego’s Tech Coast Angels. Most recently Echo closed on $7.5 million in a Series A roundled by San Francisco-based Dolby Family Ventures and Southern California’s Tech Coast Angels. Guest speakers also include Tech Coast Angel, Dr. Peter Chu, Biotechnology Entrepreneur, Investor and Executive & Annie Mak (Co-lead for Echo Labs deal in 2016).
