Our inaugural statewide workforce symposium stands as a testament to our commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. With more than 150 attendees, it served as a vibrant platform to exchange ideas and insights, propelling us forward in our shared mission.
Expanding partnerships is a cornerstone of our efforts, notably with workforce boards across the state, including the invaluable alliance with NOVAworks and the Verdugo Workforce Investment Board. Together, we’ve pioneered processes to support member companies through challenging times, facilitating layoff assistance and reinforcing our commitment to their success, as well as supporting job seekers in finding a career in this growing sector.
Our HR group’s expansion from the Bay Area to statewide participation strengthened our network, fostering diverse perspectives and expertise. Today, we have more than 550 HR professionals actively participating in the group. Moreover, the launch of a groundbreaking certificate program in biomanufacturing applications with Cal State underscores our dedication to innovation and the future of our industry.
A pivotal development this year was unveiling our new Career Hub, designed not only for our member companies but also to aid job seekers in navigating opportunities. This hub is a bridge connecting talent with promising avenues for professional growth.
