David de Vries is co-founder and CEO of Tr1X, the first company to dose a patient with an engineered allogeneic Tr1 cell. Under his leadership, Tr1X has raised more than $140 million, built a clinical-grade manufacturing process and now runs trials in Crohn’s disease, graft-versus-host disease and progressive multiple sclerosis. He previously co-founded Arine, an AI medication-optimization company.
