Joe de Rutte, Ph.D., is the co-founder and CEO of Partillion Bioscience. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, where he developed a passion for research. During his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at UCLA, he pioneered the Nanovial platform that now powers Partillion’s scalable screening of single cells and cell–cell interactions. His innovations have received multiple industry honors, including the SLAS Innovation and New Product Awards. Joe is dedicated to building technologies that accelerate discoveries in cell biology and the development of new therapeutics.
