Joshua Pelz, PhD

Dr. Pelz manages fundraising, business development, operations, and cutting-edge prosthetic limb design and production. He earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC San Diego. Pelz’s formal materials science training complements a passion for additive manufacturing, which uniquely positions him to innovate digital design and 3D printing in the prosthetic industry. Under Pelz’s leadership, LIMBER has secured more than $1.5 million in seed funding and provided life-changing prosthetic legs to over 35 patients. He envisions a world where all have access to high-quality prosthetic care.
