We believe in the power of mentorship, knowledge sharing, and community engagement. Your support will be vital in empowering aspiring individuals to explore, learn, and thrive in the dynamic world of life sciences.
Our 6-month Life Science Career Fellowship is designed for job seekers who are currently underrepresented at industry companies and organizations, including first-generation college students and veterans interesting in exploring opportunities within this sector. Mentors will engage with diverse talent and contribute to our mission of developing a skilled and diverse pipeline of talent to help accelerate the growth of California’s life science ecosystem. Your commitment to our cause is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to embarking on this rewarding journey together.
Mentors must be currently employed at a life science company and reside in one of the California regions where our programs are offered. These regions include:
- San Diego
- Greater Los Angeles
- San Francisco Bay Area
Mentor Objectives Include:
- Meet on a monthly basis with fellow
- Attend Fellowship Events
- Invite fellow to industry networking events
- Provide a company tour for your fellow
- Review fellow’s resume and provide feedback
- Facilitate industry connections for your fellow
Fellowship Events Include:
- Mentor Orientation (January 15)
- Meet & Greet with Fellows (February 22)
- Professional Development Workshop (February TBD)
- Fellowship Networking Mixer (March 5)
- Mid-Program Check In (March 19)
- Professional Development Workshop (April TBD)
- Capstone Event (June 11)
