Public Policy Committees
Biocom California committees bring together policy experts to discuss new legislative and regulatory developments and shape our policy positions at the federal, state and local levels. Most committees hold virtual meetings on a quarterly basis and bring in subject matter experts to discuss relevant issues, and some committees also host quarterly or yearly in-person networking events.

DC Advocacy Fly-In
An exclusive event that brings members to our nation’s capital, providing them with the opportunity to educate policy leaders on their company and discuss any new advancements and challenges related to their field. Every year, our fly-ins focus on a specific sector of our industry to allow for targeted and productive conversations. Past fly-ins have included rare diseases, digital health, precision medicine, oncology, regenerative medicine, energy and ag biotech, and emerging technologies.

Facilities Receptions
Biocom California has been hosting receptions for our members working in Facilities and EH&S roles for twenty years. One of our signature events, these annual receptions show appreciation for and create camaraderie between Facilities and EH&S industry professionals and service providers. Join us in either San Diego or the Bay Area for good food, networking with new people, and time well spent mingling with your colleagues. Throughout the year, join us for additional Facilities and EH&S committees happy hours, hosted once a quarter. These events are for members of our Facilities and EH&S Committees only.

Roundtables with elected officials and candidates, regulatory agencies, and policy experts provide our members with opportunities to build relationships with decision makers and give input on policies. We host these events with leaders at every level of government while working with our members to identify speakers that are most pertinent to their operations.
