The University of San Diego is a Catholic university chartered in 1949; the school enrolls approximately 7. students and is known for its commitment to teaching, the liberal arts, the formation of values and community service. The university offers degrees at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels in its College of Arts and Sciences, Schools of Business Administration, Education, Law, and Nursing and Health Science. Degrees in biology, chemistry, physics, marine and environmental sciences serve the biotech community. MBA and Masters programs in information technology, supply chain management, systems engineering and non-profit leadership and management are also provided.
